Black Friday Gift Guide : Babies + Toddlers

Baby Play Gym: Natural wood baby play gym with six sensory toys. These are my favorite baby gifts, and I think this one would be extra appreciated as it folds up to store! Great for small spaces or for parents trying to tame the clutter!

Hape Wooden Activity Play Cube: My son had this exact one, and loved it! So many fun activities including shape sorting and mazes. This is great for developing motor skills - I’m positive this is the reason our little guy finally stood up!

Melissa & Doug Pots and Pans: This is a great compliment to the play kitchen, but also a fun standalone gift! Just get ready for the inevitable drum solos…

Tiny Land Play Kitchen: This has a similar minimal aesthetic to our Ikea play kitchen, but with more bells and whistles! Such a great big present, especially considering our 6.5-year-old still plays with his! And discerning parents will love that it’s not a primary-colored eyesore.

Toniebox Audio Player Starter Set: We missed the boat on this, but I know a lot of parents who rave about it. Anything that can actually entertain kids without a screen, inspire imagination, and be operated independently is a winner in my book!

Melissa & Doug Wooden Food Group Set: Pretend food is another gift that has stood the test of time in our house! I love the sorting element of this set, and of course M&D’s quality is top notch. Another great addition to the play kitchen but can definitely stand alone, too!

Kids Camping Set: This was another tried-and-true gift in our house! So wonderful for imaginative play and would occupy my son for hours which is not easy! He (literally) outgrew the tent at about 5, but still plays with some of the other elements to this day.

Melissa & Doug Water Wow Activity Pads: If you are traveling for the holidays, do yourself a favor and buy these immediately! These were much-loved items for us, and were lifesavers in the car, hotels, and restaurants. They also make great stocking stuffers!

Melissa & Doug Pull Back Soft Cars: These make great stocking stuffers and were a winner in our house when Alex was a baby to toddler. They promote motor skills and are so entertaining to send back and forth! Also great for hotels and staying at friends' and relatives’ houses during the holidays.

Glow Playfoam: Currently in my cart! Another creative stocking stuffer that is great for entertaining kids of all ages at restaurants and on-the-go. It never dries out and makes a minimal mess - but keep it off the couch!
